Google今天宣布2010年上半年最熱門關鍵字(Zeitgeist)排行榜，統計及分析上半年人氣網絡搜尋關鍵字的趨勢，並從多方面的關鍵字搜尋回顧上半年香港網民最關心的人物、娛樂資訊、時事，以及迅速冒起的人氣搜尋關鍵字。是次Google搜羅本地關心的話題，包括電影、名人、政界人物等，整理為香港熱門關鍵字排行榜，反映本地潮流。 Google宣布2010年上半年香港熱門關鍵字排行榜 – 「World Cup」(世界盃)為上半年香港最熱門搜尋關鍵字 – 「犀利哥」、「賜座男」網上竄紅，網民力量不容忽視 世界盃熱潮席捲香港 榮登人氣搜尋排行榜榜首: 1. World Cup 2. iPad 3. iPhone 4 4. 犀利哥 5. 六四 6. 陳巧文 7. 書本交易網 8. Facebook 新增追蹤用戶位置功能

網上社交網站Facebook推出追蹤用戶位置新功能，用戶可讓親友知道其所在位置及與什麼人一起。 Facebook Places 是新增的功能，會員可利用流動電話，實時讓親友知道所在位置，或在電腦登入網站後披露所在位置。 用戶可下載為手提電話iPhone推出的Places 應用程式，如用戶的智能電話支持HTML5，亦可使用Places軟件，實時披露所在地點。 有關功能暫只限美國用戶使用，但如用戶身在美國以外，亦可知道美國親友所在地點。Facebook計劃將這項功能，逐步擴展至全球5億會員。 至於私隱問題，Facebook稱，用家可完全控制披露的資料。私隱捍衛組織一直批評Facebook，未能好好保護用家的個人資料，這將成為另一個被攻擊的功能。
